Fair enough. But I think you're inclined to give things a negative spin no matter what. You could just as easily say an ambulance technician is drawn to their work because they want to help, or that a policeman feels a rush of joy because he's taken someone dangerous off the streets. Right?
You might be correct in that people are naturally drawn towards violence. People run towards screams and all that. But I think it's flawed to say the why is always for a sadistic reason.
