Right? You can't count on willpower for everything. Even if you're soooo overcome with the feeling of vengeance for whatever reason, it's not something that gives you a super power. It doesn't change that a deck's stacked like way, waaaay against you, and you're still going to die if you go up against it. Even cowering in a hole would've been better in the long run.

But... you know, people like that, they die swallowing that anger and despair. They throw their entire personhood at something, their conscious mind and thoughts and memories, only to die knowing it didn't make a difference.

Aah, I wonder how powerless that feels...!
