[It's one thing to wake up with someone's weird cellphone in an envelope next to her bed. It's another thing to open up its chat client and find...well Codi isn't sure who they are, to be frank. It could be some kind of underground military or travel organization. The fact that it's over the internet--presumably--makes her think of something more along the lines of an extremely elaborate LARP.]

[The problem is that she doesn't know, and in this new line of work she's made for herself, Codi feels that she can't take any chances. Thankfully she has this useful alter-ego to do reconnaissance with, and this new correspondence to test.]


Usually when I have to ask "where am I" and "how did I get here" I'm not so excited about it.
Was your device supposed to take you somewhere specific, or was random the goal?
