Diana has set herself up in front of her CALL device so that it has a clear shot of her face, and most of her upper body. She's in the traditional tiara-and-W-Eagle-bustier she's known for. Behind her, a few melee weapons of Amazon make can be seen stored and displayed, as well as the helm for her "screaming eagle" suit of armour. Also: a pot of tea and some potted plants of various types.

"Hello, I thought perhaps introducing myself here and getting to know some others would be helpful. My name is Diana, and I am from an island called Themyscira, where I grew up among my Amazon sisters.

I've also come to be known in my home reality as Wonder Woman, a name I do my best to live up to as both an individual, and am Ambassador to Patriarch's World.

I will be upfront and say I possess abilities beyond the human norm. I won't list them, but you're free to ask if you're curious.

If anyone is in need of assistance of any kind, please ask, and I'll do what I can at no cost, if it's something I'm capable of. I intend to do my best to protect people here, both visitors and natives to this reality, as much as I do at home.

It's the term my people use for the world outside the Island. We're an entirely female society, and it was only when I left it that it made itself known to the rest of the world after several thousand years.

A man who holds power over others, though it can also simply mean a male figure who commands the respect of many, especially in a family unit.

As a system, patriarchy is that in which men have more power and control over their lives than women, often even having power and social advantages over them.

I kept meaning to take on a weapon skill, but I kept having other things to do... Maybe it's something I should look into while I'm otherwise indisposed...

Those weapons behind you, I mean. They're yours, right? Or are they just for display?

"They're mine, and while some have ceremonial significance, they're all functional weapons.

I would be willing to begin some basic self defence lessons. Judging by your aptitudes in hand-to-hand, we could talk about what sort of weapon might be a good choice to begin learning.

Though before any of that, I'd like to sit down and talk with you first, if that would be alright. I like to get to know potential students before starting.

[ She gestures at herself, in her all 5'4"/80lbs glory. ]

But I could do my best to show you what I can do. I'm also capable of...abilities, as you put them.

[ She closes her eyes and 'sighs' heavily. Except that instead of air, it's a bubble of bright blue fire that leaves her lips. ]

I know what I'd like to do. I want to put enough weight on to feel human again, and I want to get back to work protecting people.
