[If anyone has been brave enough to venture into the City of Nightmares, they might recognize that Dio is currently in The Corvid. Those that don't will at least recognize that he's in a nightclub of some kind and Dio appears to be both completely relaxed and having a good time. He has to talk over the music, but he makes it seem almost as though he's not raising his voice at all or, at the very least, only raising his voice just enough to be heard and not a decibel louder.]

I think perhaps this city's reputation is a little unfair in its oversimplification. [He pauses as a twentysomething woman is placing her hand in his and taking up a seat in his lap while also trying not to spill her drink. Before she can take her hand back, Dio kisses her knuckles and smiles at her. She's caught off-guard by the gesture for a brief moment but once she meets Dio's eyes, she breaks out into a wide grin and bubbly laughter. She settles in against Dio, taking her hand back to rest it against his chest.] As I was saying, I think there's more to this place than just danger.

[Dio brushes her hair out of the way, exposing her neck to the view of the camera. He runs sharp, black nails up and down along her neck until she shivers and starts to sit up again.]

I know some of you have been hesitant to travel here, [he says, his gaze slipping back to her. He runs his fingers through her hair before hooking a finger under her chin and tilting her face further up towards his.] But I think you'll find something worth your while.

[He leans down and kisses her, his fingers moving along her jaw and back down to her neck.]

((ooc: just as a brief note for those responding to the cad post, the username amicus is not associated with dio! he's using it specifically to hide his identity. while being a dick and calling other people out for hiding?? i don't know. he's a hypocrite.))
