Just beware of banana peels if you go back. Tomorrow's pretty cool. They're having a STEM fair soon, so if science is your thing, there's still time to enter.

Hah! Well, the SFC's got this City of Nightmare. There's a ReQuest open over there right now to help some hotel owner rid this haunted room of a serial killer's ghost. It sounds cheesy, but I went and they're totally not playing around. Add in the fact that there's a murderer running around the lake over there and... yeah. It's called "Nightmare" for a reason.

Someone needs to stop the murderer, right? I kind of have a sort of crime-stopping gig back home, so why wouldn't I try to help out?

Um. Because there's ghosts and monsters and crazy people? It's way outside the realm of normal. You could be in over your head!

How bad was it?

No, just wanted to see if you knew about it from where you're from. It's... Well. A team, some have superhuman powers. Others don't, but have other abilities, and we help people out whenever we can.

[There's a really long pause. Harry's waffling around on whether or not to talk about it. Spare his pride or warn off someone who might walk into something just as bad or worse? Guilt eventually wins out and he goes with the latter:]

...I got locked up and tortured the last time I was there, so pretty bad.

So... like superheroes? All we really have where I'm from is Spider-Man, but he's not much of a hero. [And that's all he's gonna say about it, as hard as that is. He has to chill on the whole I HATE SPIDER-MAN thing or people are going to figure out he's the Goblin pretty quick.] So, which are you? You got powers or other abilities?

Oh. Sorry to hear that. You alright?

Yeah, like that. Spider-Man, huh? Interesting. Is he really like a spider?

I guess you can say I have self-given powers, considering I built the suit I wear to do the job.

I am now. [/lyyying] Just... be really careful if you insist on going, okay?

Yeah. Crawls around on walls, shoots webs... [AND A TOTAL DAD-MURDERING MENACE. He's trying really hard not to rant.]

Oh man. What kind of suit?

I will. Thanks for the heads up.

[ Well that's ... weird. But who is he to judge. He has his own gimmick, after all. ] Is he around here, too?

It's like an armor, basically. Just weaponized.

I'm not sure. Haven't seen him, so probably not. [More lies-- he totally ambushed him as the Goblin not too long ago in Adventure.]

Yeah, absolutely.

You live here, or just go back and forth between this place and home?

Awesome! [Science may not be his thing, but he totally wants to see this superhero-worthy armor. He's not sure if his own suit will compare much, because only a small part of it is dependent on tech.]

For right now, I'm staying in the SFC, but I hop back home every now and again.

I'll keep you posted when I finally do it. In the meantime, I do have...kind of like a piece of it with me. My right arm is essentially a part of the suit.

Is it weird, doing the back and forth thing? I just started using it, so I'm still kind of adjusting, I guess.

A little bit. Time stops back home while you're in the SFC, so it's kinda jarring going back and forth. But I mean, at least your world doesn't go on without you while you're here, right?

It's a prosthetic, and attaches to the suit when the rest comes on.

Yeah, I like that. If I went missing, I don't know if I'd be contemplating staying here for a while. But at least I can explore without feeling too guilty about it.

Exactly. And if a situation gets rough back home, you can take a break. Come here. Figure out how to deal with it before you go back. That's always nice.

Don't worry about it, it's totally fine. Seriously. I kinda love showing off what it can do, and since it's a fraction of the suit, technically you really can see a demonstration of it even if I don't bring by the whole thing.

Not to brag (but bragging a little), but I'm one hell of a science whiz. I like tinkering with things, and science, so...just a good combination of skills, I guess.

Huh, I hadn't even thought of that, but I guess you're right. I kinda need a break from home, actually, but couldn't actually take one. I guess this came at a perfect time.
