[Kidding? Dave always has lot of pictures of his pets. But since he's doing all the app experiment now, he'll try to look a little bit more serious. So he sends a picture of the owl standing on the middle of his desk, surrounded by his tools.]

Well. The answer is yes.
There's an island near Tomorrow inhabited by animals like her. They're made of clockwork, but they seem to have certain degree of will.

You went on one of the exploration trips, then?

To all three of them, yeah. It was interesting most of the time, I'll probably join more if they offer again.

I can "speak" to any animal, though it's usually more of an empathic communication- they tend to "talk" in feelings, smells, impressions. But they understand me when I speak to them in words, usually.

That's actually pretty cool. I wish I could speak to my dog. Aithne seems to understand me well enough, even if I can't understand her back. Most of the clockwork animals looked kinda intelligent.

No, deamons are animals as we know them. Well, except for the whole soul and talking thing. She comes from the Land of Brass - everything is clockwork there.

Well, I'm in Tomorrow and I've been wandering around a lot so... if I see her, I'll try and let you know.

Yeah, it was my favorite island of the three. Deamons were kinda cool but the Land of Brass had a whole new system of life.

Thank you. I think she got a little tired of standing on my next and needed to stretch her wings, I don't think she'll give you much trouble.

Well, you saw how I felt about it. Can't say I regret getting Margaery. But I can see how it might not be convenient for everyone.

She does have the advantage of not fluttering off, though.

But if I see your bird, I'll give you a ring. Any thoughts on where she might fly to? I'm assuming she'll stick around Tomorrow, but it is a big city.

No idea. Probably the busiest corners of the city? Which I guess Tomorrow being Tomorrow doesn't say much...

Margaery's a California King snake, as pretty as they come.

So certain effects aren't permanently linked to the place they originate from. Interesting.

Usually, she hangs out in my pocket, one of my sheaths, or around my neck. Pretty easy, actually.

And no, I've brought her home too. So far so good, actually.

Ah, yeah, sure, the daemons count as s far so good, but... this should probably be something to remember in the future considering the other islands. :/

Yeah, she's not too big. Possibly because as people like me go, I'm pretty young.
