[Hi! here's a crooked camera angle of Clint, he sort of looks like he just woke up-- or just had an exciting brawl with a box of bandaids. Either way it's not a good look.

He scratches at at least a day's worth of scruff on his chin and reaches to straighten his CALL device out... it's still crooked but A for effort, right?]

So this lets me talk to all you guys in that crazy city, right? Cities... place, wold? I kinda got the run down -- and had a look around? Also pretty sure I almost had to fight a dragon but...

So far, Skyrim here is filled with danger. I was gonna check out the providence of sexy times next, but from experience I can already tell you that love hurts so that place is probably pretty scary too.

First time's always the hardest. Probably. There's hot, helpful aliens too, if that helps? [Should he warn him about the skrulls? He should probably warn him about the skrulls... ]

I got a few good recommendations, so I'm going to experiment.

...huh. Guess I'll have to see it to believe it, because the ones I met aren't anywhere close to being hot. [ If anything, honestly, the idea is a little mind boggling to him. ]

Uh. Kind of? [ The familiar red and gold of his suit comes into view as he raises his right hand, waving in greeting. Which it does look as if he's wearing the suit on his arm, gauntlet and all, but as he pulls the phone a little further from himself it's obvious that it's not exactly the suit covering his arm. The metal prosthesis is essentially his arm, and it disappears underneath his sleeve. ]

I'll bring the rest next time, but for now this one will do.

Also, sorry Tony, even if you're not his Tony Stark, you still have to deal with Clint hassling you, he doesn't let a little thing like alternate realities come between him and sometimes teammates.

Besides, he needs someone on his side to fix things when he inevitably breaks them.]

You can see the dragons coming most of the time so you can hide? Goblin and orc bandits will try to chase you. [A pause before finally asking.] Do you need a hand, dude?

I have found a wonderful place in the City of Tomorrow that makes fairly passable coffee. The Deli right near the Tower?

Also, might I inquire as to the nature of the dragon you encountered? I'm a bit of a naturalist, so I find creatures like that to be particularly intriguing.

This is odd, not having the people that he has known for a while now, but he's just rolling with it. Honestly, Clint is still familiar even if he's not the one he knows, and he's just glad that there is that. The rest would be easy, right?

They were Avengers, despite the mess in timelines. They'd figure it out. ]

I don't know about dragon nature, but it was big and kinda green and spit like... gas? I pretty much hightailed it out of there after our initial tussle.

How big? Forgive me, I understand that such details are secondary when one is intent on not being the creature's next meal, but I have only read about such beasts in books of folklore. And where were you? Is there any chance it would still be where you left it?

Uh... not quite T-rex? And I dunno, it had wings so I imagine it could go wherever it wanted, but it was in the forest on the way through... I think this is Sorcery?

[He shakes his head.] I wouldn't go after it if I were you, I'm pretty sure it'd be more than happy to have people like us as a snack.

T-Rex. Tyrannosaurus Rex. [ She blinks as if trying to recall just how large such a creature would be. At his caution, she looks up and grins. ]

You are such a gentleman. But it's quite all right. Where I'm from, we deal with large predators on a fairly regular basis. I am confident in my abilities to remain uneaten. Especially if I'm just going to observe and not actually bring home a trophy.

I'm sorry, I've been terribly rude. Are you doing all right? Is there anything you need that I might help you with?

Huh? No i'm fine, I came here with most of these. [He gestures to himself and his no doubt ruffled (and beat up) appearance. It's kinda how he usually looks if we're going to be honest.]

Oh no. Unfortunately, Barsoom's resources are limited, so we can't actually keep such creatures as the blind white apes or banths -- a type of tiger, if you're from Earth -- in an environment that would be humane. But we hunt, regularly. For sustenance, and in some instances, to protect our communities.

Thank you, I'd like that very much. [ She gives him another bright grin. ] I've already had a run in with one of the giant serpents in Adventure. Their venom seems to affect the nervous system, and causes very vivid hallucinations. I still need to write that up, don't I? [ The last is uttered to herself. After a moment, she blinks and comes back to him. ]
