[Hi! here's a crooked camera angle of Clint, he sort of looks like he just woke up-- or just had an exciting brawl with a box of bandaids. Either way it's not a good look.

He scratches at at least a day's worth of scruff on his chin and reaches to straighten his CALL device out... it's still crooked but A for effort, right?]

So this lets me talk to all you guys in that crazy city, right? Cities... place, wold? I kinda got the run down -- and had a look around? Also pretty sure I almost had to fight a dragon but...

I'd say the one and only, but that's not true.

[He does an invisible hat tip in greeting, except then he loses a grip on his device and it goes cluttering down on the table.]

I'd ask if other me is like, dead, or a super villain, but I probably don't want to know. [His voice keeps going, apparently he's given up on propping the damn thing.]

[ Tony shakes his head when the phone tumbles out of sight, and he lets out a chuckle under his breath. ]

If it helps, you're neither. Er, he's neither. He's part of the Avengers, and we just got done fighting a pretty big alien invasion in Manhattan.

[ He's really not going to mention how Loki brainwashed him, because no. He knows the Clint from his timeline is already struggling with that, and the last thing he wants is to pass that along to this Clint. He knows how that feels like - he's still struggling with knowing he created an evil AI in some other timeline. ]

Are you alright? What the hell happened to your face?

[Yeah, no, he has a list a mile long of his own problems, he probably doesn't need to know that his luck is shit no matter what reality he's in.]

Oh Aliens... Which ones? Kree? Skurlls? Ugh I hate Skrulls...

[He tips the device up again.] Oh, this? I fell into a car. And then... you know, dragon.

[ Don't worry, Clint. Tony's a dick, but he's not completely heartless. Most of the time. ]

Chitauri. So...aliens are the norm for you?

[ He nods a little, although the mention that he fell into a car makes him quirk an eyebrow again. ] Right. You alright?

Well not like, every day, but they're like... a thing that happens.

[He does his best to imitate the eyebrow quirk.] Oh, yeah, this is nothing. I didn't even break anything this time.

[iron_man]

Huh. It's a first for me, so I'm still... [ Processing. Thinking about it. Dreaming about it. There are so many things that could fit in there, but he just waves it off as if it's not a big deal. ]

...that's...good.

So, did you find a good place for coffee?

First time's always the hardest. Probably. There's hot, helpful aliens too, if that helps? [Should he warn him about the skrulls? He should probably warn him about the skrulls... ]

I got a few good recommendations, so I'm going to experiment.

...huh. Guess I'll have to see it to believe it, because the ones I met aren't anywhere close to being hot. [ If anything, honestly, the idea is a little mind boggling to him. ]

Good. Let me know if any pan out, I'll take any recommendations of places to check out around here.

Did you pack your suit? because from what I'm hearing, some of these places can be hazardous to one's health.

Yep. That'd be appreciated for whenever I need a jolt of caffeine.

[ Which, let's face it, will be sooner than later and an uncaffeinated Tony Stark would be a nightmare. ]

Uh. Kind of? [ The familiar red and gold of his suit comes into view as he raises his right hand, waving in greeting. Which it does look as if he's wearing the suit on his arm, gauntlet and all, but as he pulls the phone a little further from himself it's obvious that it's not exactly the suit covering his arm. The metal prosthesis is essentially his arm, and it disappears underneath his sleeve. ]

I'll bring the rest next time, but for now this one will do.

Great, you can be the big gun and I can be the wingman and we might survive this place yet. [Wingman, get it, because hawk--- nevermind.

Also, sorry Tony, even if you're not his Tony Stark, you still have to deal with Clint hassling you, he doesn't let a little thing like alternate realities come between him and sometimes teammates.

Besides, he needs someone on his side to fix things when he inevitably breaks them.]

I like the way you think. [ Oh he gets it, and by the smirk that crosses his lips, Clint could probably see that.

This is odd, not having the people that he has known for a while now, but he's just rolling with it. Honestly, Clint is still familiar even if he's not the one he knows, and he's just glad that there is that. The rest would be easy, right?

They were Avengers, despite the mess in timelines. They'd figure it out. ]
